In the project Health I learned about how health insuranced worked and what factors need to be considered when creating prices for people who need health insurances. All of my work is in the portfolio linked below.

Free Your Mind
In the math side of the project, Free Your Mind I had to pick a psychic prison that people have and make a escape room that symbolizes breaking out of the prison. Examples of an psychic prison is gender bias, age bias, and race bias. My group chose age bias. An escape room is a room that is locked from the outside and you have to solve puzzles in the room to get out. The puzzle that are in the room have to be connected to your bias. My group decided to use old fashioned puzzles like metal locks with numbers and locks that are more new and have to do with technology like a digital door lock keypad. We went for an Victorian Mystery theme and built the mantel, closet and boxes in the room. We used measurements to find out how big each item had to be to make sure they fit into the room. On the digital keypad we used coding to make sure when the correct set of numbers are entered it works and breadboards to make lights light up if the numbers are correct.
